About Amy (She/Her)

I am a licensed psychotherapist providing individual therapy to adults and adolescents. Prior to beginning my therapy practice, I worked for many years in community mental health and school-based settings where I supported clients from diverse backgrounds navigate experiences ranging from complex trauma to life transitions. My background has prepared me to help adult and adolescent clients through the unique challenges they face while honoring the individual strengths they bring.

I will work with you to discover and strengthen the aspects of your life that are filling you up and let go of those which are no longer serving you. Together we will make space for new ways of being in relationship with yourself, others, and the world around you. I believe that you are already whole, just as you are. I will support you to tap into the inner wisdom and resilience that exist within you and build resources to help you move through the world with greater ease.

My approach to therapy is relational and holistic. I believe that healing happens in our bodies and within the safety of trusting relationships wherein we feel seen and held, without judgment. Our work will focus on you as a whole person - mind, body, and spirit - and use a combination of traditional talk therapy and mindfulness-based techniques.

  • My work with clients is influenced by:

  • Somatic-based therapy

  • Relational therapy

  • Mindful-based therapy

  • Bilateral stimulation

I am a mother and live in the East Bay with my family. I enjoy hiking with my dog Dexter, practicing yoga, learning about anything that excites me, cooking, and spending intentional time with loved ones.

“Loving ourselves through the process of owning our story is the bravest thing we will ever do.”
